We take our annual trip to our Canadian cabin
the week before school starts. It really is a nice tradition.
I like it because we can come together as family and spend
quality time before things get too busy. This year we
really missed aunt and uncle burp. They did have a
very good excuse. They had a new baby!!
Here are some of the highlights...
Although, we missed seeing our cousin Isabel
we did get to spend the week with our other brand
new baby cousin.
Baby Thomas... This was my highlight for sure.
He is such a sweet baby and a real trooper,
He was the youngest child to have come up to the
cabin yet!!
Proud Papa |
Tom has worked hard the last month or so fixing up
this old fishing boat. He was really happy to be able
try it out at the cabin. Here they are fishing in the
new red Naden.
Tom really lucked out with these kiddos,
they all love to fish

Tillie with her new PINK tackle box and hat, thanx grandpa!! |
Nice walleye |
We did some fishing and a lot of swimming.
We ate good food
we even decided to catch some crayfish and
have a real southern crayfish boil!!
It was pretty good... I must be too much of a
Yankee to really enjoy it.
We can't wait for next year.
Thank you grandpa!!
and thank you Canada
